Our apartment is part of the brand-new O'Sea residence. It is easily accessible by both car and public transport. More information on this can be found below.
How to reach it?
The apartment is easily accessible via the E40 motorway. Follow the E40 towards Ostend (A10) until the end. Continue on the Elisabethlaan/R31 towards Troonstraat.
Our flat is also easy to reach by public transport. Take the train to Ostend station. From there, you have two smooth options:

Bus line 60 (get off: stop Oostende Zwembad)

Tram line KT Kusttram (get off: stop Ostend Northlaan)
Both will take you within walking distance of the accommodation in a few minutes.
Where is the entrance to the car parking?
The entrance to our underground car parking is in Leopold van Tyghemlaan, a side street of Troonstraat. (See also photo) You will receive further instructions when booking.
What to do?
Our residence is in a prime location in Ostend, close to numerous fun activities and sights. Within walking distance, you will find the beautiful beach and sea dyke, ideal for a relaxing day by the sea or an evening stroll at sunset. During a walk, you can involve some sights such as the 'strekdam' or the 'Kursaal'.
There are also plenty of pleasant parks such as the Maria Hendrika Park and Leopold Park. Other attractions in the region include the Port of Ostend, Fort Napoleon and the Casino. For museum and culture lovers, the City Museum, the James Ensor House and St Peter and Paul Church are definitely worth a visit. The above attractions are easily accessible with the famous coastal tram that takes you along the entire coast.
Sport
There are also plenty of activities for sports lovers.

Right next door is the iconic Wellington Racecourse, which regularly hosts horse races and events. Every Monday in July and August there is “Ostend Koerse” and you have the opportunity to watch the horse races live.
Close to our flat is the Diaz Arena: the football stadium of amateur club KV Diksmuide Ostend. Basketball fans can visit the Coretec Dôme, where top basketball club Filou Oostende plays. This stadium, which also serves as an events hall, is also close to our apartment. With 26 titles, Filou Oostende is currently the record champion in the Belgian basketball championship.
Local food options
Ostend is a paradise for lovers of good food. You will find plenty of restaurants in the city, from cosy bistros to sophisticated seafood restaurants. Our recommendations are: Bistro Mathilde, ....
For a good breakfast, there are some strong bakeries nearby such as bakery DIEMAS or Fijnbakkerij Debusschere.
In addition, the Vistrap is also a must visit. The Vistrap is a unique open-air fish market where you can buy fresh fish, shrimps and other seafood directly from the fishermen every day. Ideal for preparing something delicious yourself in your flat or just to enjoy the authentic atmosphere of the city!
